With two fires in less than five months, many are asking why isn't something being done with the former Kingsclear Reformatory? It is owned by the Province and Supply and Services Minister Ed Doherty tells CHSJ News, the fire over the weekend happened in a building set to be demolished in the next week or two. Doherty admits the building sits on a valuable piece of real estate and believes there is someone interested in it. RCMP investigators confirm the fire over the weekend was deliberately set.
