Mayor Court Says Shovels Will Be In The Ground Soon For Peel Plaza

Construction is finally underway on the justice complex at the site of the "Y" on Hazen Avenue. Common Council still hasn't had a final vote yet on the rest of the Peel Street development which includes a new police headquarters and parking garage. Mayor Ivan Court expects a report will be coming to Council in the next couple of weeks.

The Mayor remains confident shovels will be in the ground later this spring.
