Kings Way Care Centre foundation director Kim Shaw tells CHSJ news the goal is to enhance the daily life of the residents.
She says with the money they would make the courtyards more inviting by having some water features and plants.
Shaw adds it would be a place for relaxation,where seniors can enjoy the sun and feel fresh air.
Quispamsis Council has moved the request to finance for consideration in the next budget.
