Barlow Calls P3 Partnerships A Global Failure

Maude Barlow says public private partnerships are a failure here and around the globe.

The activist with the the Council of Canadians tells CHSJ News 40 municipalities in France alone are backtracking from the private route.

She says they tried the private route and it was a terrible mistake and in Paris they have lowered the price of water because by funding it municipally they deliver it safely and without the profit motive they could give people their money back.

The city of Saint John currently has a P3 application in to pay for clean drinking water.
