City police looking into a possible robbery involving a weapon at an apartment building in the South end.
It happened about 430 yesterday (Friday) afternoon in a brown building next to 126 Broad Street.
Sgt. Rick Caswell tells CHSJ News they got a report about a man with a weapon.
He says as a result they responded with several officers gathering as much information as possible and cleared the building for safety reasons.
Caswell says they did not find a weapon in the building and now they are taking witness statements to see what happened.
No one was hurt and there are no suspects or charges so far.
Traffic was blocked on Broad Street between Carmarthen and Wentworth for about two hours.
