Benefit Organised For Bobby's Hospice

A benefit will be held tomorrow night at Harbourview High for Bobby's Hospice which provides palliative care on Dufferin Row.

City Police officers are organising it. Constable Shanda Weir tells CHSJ News Sergeant Ken Churchill is at the Hospice now and wanted to give back to the community so he raised the idea of the benefit with Sergeant Dave Cowan, both of whom are members of the original Country Blues band.

There have been two others since then and all three will be performing on stage Saturday night.

Constable Weir says besides the music, there will be other surprises. Prizes have been donated by the Ale House, Chateau de Saint John and Saint John Executive Limo.

Tickets cost 15 dollars each with all the proceeds going to Bobby's Hospice and it all gets underway at 7:00.
