It's never too late to change people's minds about fracking, according to Sheri Somerville of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers.
She tells CHSJ News the track record speaks for itself and the industry needs to do a better job of communicating that, because clearly there have been some lapses in getting what they say are the facts across.
Somerville says the protests and lack of support are due to misinformation about the process and they're doing their best to correct that by engaging with the public online and at open meetings.
