Group Plans For Ferry's Future

Regional representatives banding together to plan ahead for March of 2014, when funding for the Princess of Acadia ferry that runs between Saint John and Digby dries up.

Christopher Wright with the Marine Transpiration Partnership tells CHSJ News it's important stakeholders from both sides of the Bay of Fundy are represented moving forwards.

Wright says they'd like to have a plan well before 2014 that would either see a new ferry being built or one being brought in.

He says the Princess of Acadia is 40 years old, and time is not on their side.
