The Provincial Government has invested in a new digital mammography unit at St. Joseph's Women's Health Centre. Health Minister Mary Schryer tells CHSJ News this technology is good news for the Greater Saint John area and this clinic.
Schryer adds it's a three year funding agreement with $53, 000 dollars announced today.
The money is for the funding and operation of the digital mammography machines at St. Joe's. Breast Cancer is the second-leading cause of death among women in New Brunswick.
