Fire at the Irving Tissue Mill

It was an extended lunch break for several employee's at the Irving Tissue Mill on the West Side this afternoon.

It was just before 12:30pm that several had to be evacuated after the fire alarm sounded.

Fire crews arrived on scene to find one of the vents at the top of the mill was on fire.

It took about 90 minutes to get the blaze under control and still no word on what sparked the fire and no one was hurt.
