New Democrats say they could save 210-million dollars by eliminating last minute spending before the end of the budget year in March.
The party is proposing to make each department publicly report its unbudgeted expenditures each year to avoid having them spend every budget dollar prior to the end of the fiscal year.The promise was made during a campaign event in Fredericton this morning.
