Another public meeting held on the proposed metal shredder........This time on the lower west side at the Carleton Community Centre near where the shredding operation will be, if approved.
Christine Hamilton, who lives on City Line, worries her quality of life will be made worse.
Common Councillor Bill Farren is a bit more optimistic saying he spoke to a consultant who has been to the shredder in Montreal and he maintains you can have a normal conversation within 100 or 120 feet of the facility.
