City Hands Out Cash To Local Arts and Culture Groups

The city handing out 60-thousand dollars in grants to 31 local arts and cultural organizations as part of the sixth annual Saint John Community Arts Funding Program.

The Harvesting the Arts Festival receiving a cheque for 15-hundred dollars and spokesperson Jennifer Waldschutz tells CHSJ News every bit of money helps as the festival is not-for-profit project.

Other groups receiving funding include the Boys and Girls Club for a mural project and the New Brunswick Visual Arts Association.
