It's "On your mark, Get set, Go!" at the Lily Lake Pavilion today as 137 races are held in New Brunswick's All-American Soap Box Derby.
Alanna Waberski with Lily Lake tells CHSJ in addition to the races there will be jugglers, bouncy castles, rock climbing and trolley rides for the public.
Waberski says the Soap Box Derby is unique because all of the cars are the same, making it a level playing field.
Two winners from the Derby will be sent on to Ohio in July for the North American Championship.
Due to the event the main entrance to Rockwood Park will be closed until 6 o'clock tonight.
Drivers can access the park by using the Hawthorne Avenue Extension entrance.
