It has been one month since the body of prominent businessman Richard Oland was found dead in his Canterbury Street office.
No one has been charged yet.
It has come to light well known Fredericton defense lawyer Gary Miller has been retained by Oland's son Dennis.
When asked by CHSJ News whether he expects something to happen soon, Miller replied "Gosh no but I'm not the coppers".
City Police have not released the cause of death although it has been reported Oland was bludgeoned with an axe.
Police are only saying Oland likely knew his killer.
There have been three searches conducted thus far in the investigation at the Rothesay home of Oland's son, Dennis, the Royal Kennebecasis Yacht Club and woods beside the Bill McGuire Centre in Renforth.
