The home opener is set for tonight and Sea Dogs President Wayne Long tells CHSJ News there will be a special ceremony before the game at centre ice with the Memorial Cup and the President's Cup.
He says the team will have a different look early on as a lot of players will still be away at NHL training camps and the younger players will be stepping up to the plate.
The Seadogs are ranked as the top junior team in the country entering the new season.
The puck drops at Harbour Station at 7 o'clock.
