The clean up last Saturday was spearheaded by the sandy spot's neighbour Canaport LNG.
Ward 4 Councillor Ray Strowbridge tells CHSJ News about 40 people took part.
He says everybody worked hard collecting garbage including an old spare tire and an old fencing.
Strowbridge is hoping the problems at Mispec will be taken care in 2013 and the beach will have working washrooms again.
Canaport LNG is doing landscaping work now and is committed to more work next year.
