Former Saint John M-P Welcomes Trudeau's Leadership Run

The torch is being passed to a new generation of leadership in the Liberal Party, both federally and provincially.

That's how the former Liberal M-P in Saint John Paul Zed views Justin Trudeau's bid to become the next leader of the federal Liberals and the question of whether he has enough experience shouldn't be an issue considering he represents a riding in Montreal with a large immigrant population so he has had to make connections with people from different backgrounds.

Zed is a friend of Beausejour M-P Dominic Leblanc and tells CHSJ News he would also make a good leader of the party.

As for who he will support federally, Zed isn't saying but has made it clear he's backing Moncton lawyer Brian Gallant for the provincial Liberal party leadership.
