They say power has been restored to over 100,000 people since Thursday's storm, although there's still 5,000 people without power in Rothesay, Sussex and Moncton. The company says the storm caused some major damage to broken poles and trees, saying restoration will be ongoing until tomorrow night.
NB Power has hired on 65 additional crews to help repair the damage, including members from Hydro Quebec, Emera, Maritime Electric and Saint John Energy.
