Fire Chief Says 24 Hour Surveillance An Option For Arson-Plauged House

After 4 fires in the same vacant North end building, City police and fire officials are looking for your help in finding out who is responsible.

Fire Chief Kevin Clifford tells CHSJ News it's hard to say whether it's a single arsonist or different groups of firebugs--but they don't have a definite impression either way. At this point, he says they're considering putting the building under 24 hour surveillance.

Fire crews were called to 168 Main Street for the second time this week in the wee hours this morning. The other fires occurred on January 11th and February 13th. No one has been hurt in any of the fires.
