The Mounties identifying the man as 30-year-old Peter Nicholas Scribner of Steeves Settlement. His body was found inside the home after police were called out to the blaze.
Both the cause of the fire and the cause of death is being investigated by the RCMP with help from the New Brunswick Office of the Fire Marshal and the New Brunswick Coroner Service.
