Piece of Land in Millidgeville Now Protected

Another piece of land in the Province is now protected by the Nature Trust of New Brunswick. John Irving has donated 27 hectares which now becomes an official nature preserve. The piece of property is right behind Samuel de Champlain and runs down to the Saint John River. Homeowners in Ragged Point and the Boars Head Road area have been working for years to protect this piece of property.

This now brings the number of trust-held nature preserves in the greater Saint John area to six. The land was donated by the Provincial Government while John Irving's donation will finance the stewardship of the preserve.
