After years of steady decline, there may be some hope on the horizon for enrolment in District Eight.
Superintendent Susan Tipper tells CHSJ news, kindergarten numbers are up by 14 bodies compared to last year.
Tipper adds the increase may be the result of parents being aware that a child or children have to be registered for kindergarten before September.
Between 1994 and last year, District Eight has seen it's enrolment drop by 3445 students.
