Fire Destroys Little Lepreau Home This Morning

Fire destroying a home on the Lomax Road in Little Lepreau this morning.
Ambulance NB paramedics were first to arrive just before 8:30am and were able to inform firefighters that everyone was out of the home which was filled with heavy smoke.
Once on the scene, firefighters entered the building to fight the fire which appears to have originated in the basement of the older two story house.


The Black's Harbour Fire Department responded to assist members of the Musquash Fire Department battling the blaze in the -20 degree temperatures.
Four people living in the house were alerted to the fire by smoke alarms and not injured. The cause of the fire was accidental.
