The Y's Acting CEO Shilo Boucher says they will be able to do more and offer more services in the community because of this.
She says its a 20 passenger bus and it means they can fit more kids on the bus for the 5 schools they serve in the after-school program operating out of the Prince Edward Square location.
Boucher says they were relying on an 15-passenger van that was more than 8 years old. The value of the new bus is estimated at nearly 80-thousand dollars.
