Too many drivers in the province are not buckling........That word from the R-C-M-P who are concerned by what appears to be an increase in the number of drivers not buckling up.
The Mounties tell us at least half of the victims in fatal crashes so far this year were not wearing their seatbelts. That represents a 10 per cent increase over the average rate for the last five years.
The Mounties also say, in July alone, 348 people were ticketed for seatbelt violations.
