Thousands of Saint Johners are spending Victoria day uptown trying to get a glimpse of the Royal Couple.
The Prince of Whales and the Duchess of Cornwall arriving earlier this afternoon to a large crowd at the bottom of King Street at Prince William.
With St. Mary's Band playing in the background, the crowd let out a scream as the motorcade arrived and the Prince and Duchess stepped out of the vehicle.
The Royal Couple then made their way up Prince William Street admiring the heritage architecture and chatting with the thousands of folks lining the streets.

The Royal Couple attending a citizen ship ceremony for 13 new Canadians and then making their way to Victoria Day celebrations inside and out of the Marco Polo Cruise Terminal.
Premier David Alward welcoming Charles and Camilla with a few remarks and announcing that the new cruise ship terminal being built off Water Street will be named the Diamond Jubilee Cruise Terminal.
The Royal Couple will be touring Hazen White-St. Francis School in the North end before departing from the Saint John Airport later this afternoon.
