Royal Visit Thrills Saint Johners

In less than three hours in the Port City, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall making at least 6 stops in a frenzied tour of Saint John.
Premier David Alward offering greeting to the Royal Couple as they joined the Victoria Day celebrations at the Marco Polo Cruise Terminal.
He also announces the new cruise ship terminal being built on Water street will be called the Diamond Jubilee Cruise Ship Terminal.

The City's cultural affairs officer Bernard Cormier tells CHSJ News he was surprised at the thousands of spectators that came out on the Holiday Monday to see the Royals.
He tells us he was more than surprised at the turnout adding everyone was well-behaved and having a great time.

Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall also spent time at Hazen-White St. Francis School before leaving from the Saint John Airport for Toronto.
