Grace Foundation Board Shrinks

There has been a shakeup of the Board of Directors at the Grace Foundation in the wake of the controversy over Justin Trudeau's 20 thousand dollar speaking fee at the Imperial Theatre last year.

The Board, which had ten members, is now down to five, according to its website.

Gone from the Board are Susan Buck who wrote the letter requesting reimbursement of the speaking fee because the event did not attract that many people.

Also missing is Judith Baxter, whose husband is a member of Fundy Royal M-P Rob Moore's riding Association. Baxter, herself, was appointed by the Harper Government to the board of the Canadian Museum of Civilization in 2007 and again in 2011.

The Grace Foundation decided not to seek reimbursement of the speaking fee and took the unusual step of issuing a statement that was critical of Moore for his part in fanning the flames.
