Traffic Complaint Leads To Drug Seizure

Two men face drugs and weapons charges after a traffic stop in Pennfield.

It happened yesterday morning around 9 when the RCMP received a traffic complaint and as a result stopped a vehicle on Route 175.

Police seized 5000 pills, about 800 grams of what's believed to be methamphetamine, marijuana, a loaded handgun and even body armour.

A 32 year-old Moncton man and a 25 year-old man from Stanley were arrested on charges of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possession of stolen property and weapons offences.
