A wage freeze will affect some positions with the Saint John Police Force. A recommendation of a two year wage freeze on management salaries was barely passed at last night's Board of Police Commissioners Meeting. Chief of Police Bill Reid tells CHSJ News that its a tough pill to swallow, but they will get by.
A resolution on wage freezes was passed by council at the end of March, but concern over the effects on the Police Force has kept it from being passed until last night.
