Police Making Progress On West Side Bomb Threat

We're making progress -- that from Police Chief Bill Reid with regards to making an arrest in the West Side bomb threat.

Reid tells CHSJ News the investigative unit is following up on some leads and have gone through video recorded by businesses around the bank.

Main Street west was closed down for about 6 hours on February 24th after a suspicious package was left outside of the Scotia Bank.  The RCMP bomb squad had to be called in.
