BREAKING NEWS......Suspect In Boston Marathon Explosions Shot And Killed

Police say one of two suspects in the shooting of a Massachusetts Institute of Technology police officer who also was wanted in the Boston Marathon explosions is dead after a shootout. He was 26 years old.

A massive manhunt is underway for another, who is believed to be tied to the Boston Marathon bombing. He's 19 years of age and was wearing the white cap on backwards.

Shortly after the M-I-T officer was shot dead, police got a report of a carjacking in Cambridge, just outside Boston. There was also a convenience store robbery.

Police say describe the man they're looking for as a terrorist.

The MIT shooting on the Cambridge campus Thursday night was followed by reports of violence and explosions in nearby Watertown, about 16 kilometres west of Boston.

The Associated Press reports the two bombing suspects are from Chechnya and CBS is saying they are brothers.
