It would be a huge help in completing one of the buildings at their new home on the Sandy Point Road.
The Joshua Group is in the running to win funding from the Aviva Community Fund contest.
Founder Bobby Hayes tells CHSJ News they have 28 acres at their new spot on the old Peacock's property.
He says the money would go towards finishing the work on their new home and to keep providing hot meals for the kids.
The Joshua Group is currently helping helping disadvantaged kids between the ages of 2 and 18.
