Last Chance Tonight To Hear Harbour View High Choir

The Harbour View Choral Ensemble will soon be embarking on their European adventure which includes a public concert in Amsterdam on Canada Day but before they go, the choir will perform one last time in Saint John tonight at the Church of the Assumption on Dufferin Row starting at 7:30.

While in Europe, the choir will not only visit but will also perform at the Vimy Ridge Memorial. They will place wreaths on the graves of relatives of choir members, teachers and alumni who were killed in World War One and World War Two.

The Dutch concert is to highlight the role Canada played in the liberation of Holland during the Second World War. The choir will also be giving performances in Germany and Belgium as well as the Netherlands and France.

Director Michael Molloy is retiring at the end of this month after a 35 year career in music education with the past 17 years at Harbour View High.
