Getting back to school can be hectic with students rushing out the door without having a good breakfast which is not a good way to start the day if you want to maintain your concentration in class.
Registered dietician Vanessa MacLellan of Atlantic Superstores tells CHSJ News muffins are a qood, quick option for breakfast along with on the go smoothies, Greek yogurt with granola and if you make pancakes ahead of time, they can be frozen and then you just have to pop them in the toaster in the morning.
As for lunches, MacLellan is a great believer in making extra at dinnertime and using the leftovers in lunches the next day as well as being more creative with sprucing up sandwiches with different spreads and using wraps instead of bread.
