Two awards will be handed out in November....the YMCA Peace medal for an individual or group that show a commitment to peace in their community and elsewhere without using resources, status, wealth or position.
Nominations are also being accepted for the Youth Peace Award. It's for a young person who demonstrates peaceful solutions through speech, actions and as a role model.
