Be Emergency Prepared



Today marks the start of Emergency Preparedness Week and the Saint John Emergency Management Organization is hoping to convince residents to be prepared at home, on the road and at work. Information on risks, making a plan and getting a kit can be found at:

Representatives from Saint John EMO will be at the Brunswick Square Community Booth, Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 11 am and 2pm.

Battle of the Atlantic Remembered Today



A pivotal World War II naval battle will be commemorated today by the Saint John Naval Reserve Unit. The Battle of the Atlantic will be honoured with a ceremony at St. mary and St. Bartholomew's Church at 10:30, followed by a wreath laying ceremony at the HMCS Brunswicker at 12:30. The Royal Canadian Sea Cadets, brances of the Legion, and the Mercant Navy will also be participating.
