District Fire Chief Joe Armstrong says two men were climbing down a ladder at the lobster boat dock when one slipped and fell onto the other, sending them into the low tide.

A third man called 911 and police, fire crews, and the Coast Guard were on the scene for about an hour and a half.

Armstrong could not confirm whether the men were lobster fishermen.

Rothesay Offers Chat About Amalgamation To Quispamsis

Rothesay town council is inviting Quispamsis to have a discussion on amalgamation.

Mayor Bill Bishop tells CHSJ News it does not mean amalgamation is happening but rather to see if Quispamsis is interested in talking about it.

He says if things do progress further down the road, a third party would most likely be brought in to report on the matter.

But if Quispamsis is not interested, then the idea will be dropped.

Eisner adds always try to use cash if possible as plastic can allow you to spend more than you can afford.
