There is no controversy brewing over the Kennebecasis Public Library. The building is finalizing an expansion which some say the town of Rothesay isn't happy about. The board, despite a report to the contrary, want the expansion to be attatched to it's exsisting building in Quispamsis. The consultants report has recommended an area next to the Rothesay Arena. Mayor Bill Bishop tells CHSJ News, they want to make sure it is the best site and the finances are in order.
Bishop says he has spoken with Quispamsis Mayor Murray Driscoll and both agree which-ever site is chosen, it should be what is best for residents in the Kennebecasis Valley.
