A 32-year-old man faces a first-degree murder charge in the death of St. Stephen woman. 59-year-old Mary Claire Scott was found dead in her Queen Street home on Novemeber 30th. Family members contacted RCMP when they had not heard from Scott for several days. Tips led investigators to Bible Hill, Nova Scotia where William David White was arrested yesterday. White was living in Scott's home for a time.
The accused is scheduled to appear in St. Stephen Provincial Court today.
