A consultant's report has come out on what should be done with the land next to Rockwood Park.
The Province's Conservation Council is very alarmed that land in or neighbouring the park may be sold or developed.
David Thompson tells CHSJ News the public's concern were brought forward in consultations earlier this year and he hopes the Mayor and Council realize how important this park is. Saint Johners have until August 31st to send in their opinions to Common Council on the possible sale or development of Rockwood Park. The Conservation council has started a hotline to find volunteers to help them do research on Rockwood park. The number is 650-5849.
