The cheque being presented to the group last night at the Sea Dog's home game.
Irving Oil Spokesperson Lesley Dickson tells CHSJ News the group pays for ice time and equipment for kids who would otherwise miss out on the chance to play hockey.
About 100 youths are in the program.
Irving Oil has also pledged to donate 25 dollars to Hockey For Everyone for every Facebook fan that chooses to "like" the Hockey For Everyone announcement on the company's Facebook page, up to a maximum donation of 10-thousand dollars. Click here for more details.
