The weather gets the blame for a lot these days and now mail delivery is no exception.
Canada Post says extreme snowfall is part of the reason residents in Martinon and Westfield did not get their mail for the last week.
Atlantic Canada Communications Manager Denise Cora tells CHSJ News the build up of snow prevented the contractors from being able to remove the snow and provide access to the mail boxes.
She says customers served by 5 community boxes were impacted by the snow buildup but the mail was delivered to those mailboxes this morning.
Cora adds they are working with their contractor to ensure mail delivery won't be affected by snow build up in the future.
