Posts on social media websites have the man talking to kids at Havelock and Seawood schools over the last two days.
Police have yet to speak with him themselves but have received several calls about it.
The Community Services Unit is talking to school officials letting them know about about and they encourage parents to speak to their kids about the safety rules concerning strangers.
