Public Health officials in the Province are investigating an outbreak of E. coli. but they don't know what the source is.
Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Eilish Cleary says 24 cases of bloody diarrhea suspected to be caused by E.coli have been reported so far.
She says 20 cases were reported in Miramichi, two in Saint John and two in Bathurst.
Cleary says testing continues, but several cases have been confirmed as a severe strain that can cause serious illness.
