As ice-fishing enthusiasts get ready to retire their ice shacks until next year, the President of the Renforth Fishing Association giving this season a thumbs up.

Gary Gower tells CHSJ News ice conditions were the best they've been in years, however the multiple rainstorms that rolled in this winter did cause the Kennebecasis River to rise, which resulting in fishing enthusiasts losing shoreline use for about two weeks this season.
