Famed Canadian writer Farley Mowat has died.
Originally from Belleville, Ontario, Mowat was best-known for works like Owls in the Family, The Dog Who Wouldn’t Be, and Never Cry Wolf.
His career spanned 50 years and he received numerous awards, including the Governor General’s Award for literature, the Order of Canada and a number of honorary university degrees.
Mowat was 92 years old.
