A clinical and video rooms along with an anatomy lab has been unveiled at the Regional Hospital.
They will be used by first year medical students beginning studies in Saint John this fall at the Dalhousie Medical School on the campus of UNB Saint John.
Dr. John Steeves is the Associate Dean and says hospitals for students is where they go to learn medicine and school class-rooms is where they learn about medicine.
For the first two years of their studies, students will be based at UNB Saint John and then move to another site around the Province for years three and four.
30 students will begin their studies this fall with total cost of the upgraded facilities coming in at $3.1 million dollars.
