Common Council getting a first hand look at the city's new revamped website which is expected to be up and running in two weeks time. Deputy City Manager Andrew Beckett says you'll be able to go online and communicate any problems you have with the city, such as potholes and sidewalk repairs, with the hope being you'll get an initial response in 24 hours. There will also be the ability to download pictures. You will also be able to submit your own individual profile so you'll get information on such things as when your garbage and compost are picked up and who your ward councillors are. City services will be listed in an A to Z directory along with an events section to let people know of public meetings and other happenings around town.
